The holidays are right around the corner! This year, send your own handmade cards, printed with a unique design you print yourself! In this class, students will hand carve their own stamp or “block” with a design of their choosing, print it on cards using ink pads, and will be able to take their custom stamp and a set of cards home with them.

Join Tamra Kowalski for an interesting class creating a 16-point star ornament known as the Froebel Star.  Using a complex folding process, we will create this beautiful ornament, dip it in liquid wax to preserve it, and embellish it with glitter (of course!)  Make as many as you like during our class time.

Learn to make your own custom journal for drawing, note-taking, painting or anything else you need a blank book for. This would be a great Christmas present idea as well!

We will give new life to vintage hardcover books that were headed to the recycling bin by removing the covers and filling them with fresh paper.  We will then bind the pages to the covers using a Coptic stitch. The resulting journal will lie flat when opened and can be made with paper of your choice to suit your journaling needs.

All materials are provided, but if you have a hardcover book that measures roughly 5x8 inches that you would like to use, feel free to bring it.
