Let’s Gogh to the Parade!

Summer is heating up, and so is the creativity at MontiArts! We’ve been busy behind the scenes (and in the studio) planning new workshops for all ages- from serious kiddos to lifelong learners and everyone in between. And, of course, Riverfest is right around the corner! We’re thrilled to be part of the fun again this year- keep an eye out for our wildly colorful MontiArts Art Car and our amazing Teen Art Club marching in the parade, sharing their energy, artwork, and community pride. Come create with us, celebrate with us, and see what’s new this month at MontiArts!

Community Art Show

We’re excited to bring this beloved event to life once again— and it wouldn’t be possible without our hard-working, dedicated volunteer committee. Their passion and effort make every detail shine!

We are gearing up for RiverFest!

Join us at these events during RiverFest week:

Thursday July 10th

10am- West Bridge Park gazebo, Heart of the Beast puppet show

5-8pm- West Bridge Park- Party in The Park

Friday July 11th

5-8pm Family Fun Night- see the art car at the park!

Sunday July 13th

11-1pm RiverFest parade

Make and Take Puppet Making

Offered by Heart of the Beast Puppet Theater

Heart of the Beast Puppet Theater will be leading a free, hands-on make-and-take puppet activity on 7/10/25 at 10am!

Kids (and kids at heart) can create their own moving, dancing fish puppet to bring home (or show off at the Community Block Party later).

It's a great way for families to get creative and enjoy the arts together.

Join us on Thursday, July 10, at 10 a.m. at the West Bridge Park Gazebo!

Writer’s Open Studio Coming in August

New Open Studio Time Added!

Exciting news! We’re adding a new Open Studio time on Thursday evenings from 6–9pm, starting July 12th. Come create, connect, and unwind with us after hours.

All are welcome—bring your own project and supplies and get inspired by what others are working on!
