The moment we’ve all been anxiously awaiting has come- it’s MontiArts GlowFest season! This is our busiest, most magical month of the year as we kick off everything leading up to Monti-Arts’ largest anual event: the MontiAr ts GlowFest Parade, where our community comes together aft er dark to wander in an ethereal lantern parade, carrying our ever-growing collection of lanterns big and small—an imaginative jumble of creatures and curious ideas we’ve been building year after year. Along the way, everyone is invited to join our free lantern-making workshops, creating lan-terns to carry in the Glow Parade, when winter nights sparkle with creativity, community, and a little bit of GlowFest magic.

And while GlowFest is stealing the spotlight, February at MontiArts is full of other creative treats. We’re hosting a cheerful mix of kids’ classes, the final winter session of our block printing class, and our much-loved monthly Open Mic—a favorite night for sharing, listening, and cheering each other on. There’s lots to make, lots to enjoy, and plenty of reasons to bundle up and come play with us.
